Hello and welcome to this weeks post. I have been really busy this last week, as I surge ahead building two websites. One for my friend Ray, who has a trucking business and the other is my new global shopping site find it here It is filled with great shopping links, including Amazon. There is also a page dedicated to Affiliate Marketing with lots of links to great programs. This has been a culmination of months of preparatory work and research. Hopefully this will save you lots of time and energy in looking for either items to purchase or programs for making money. When you are on the internet these days you can’t help but see all the ads for make money on the web opportunities. They are even being advertised on off line publications such as newspapers and magazines. You will find so many if you actually start looking for them that it can be hard to decide if any are worth joining.
Showing people how to make money on the web is now big business. In fact, there are so many money making opportunities online that people are wondering whether all these systems, programs and schemes can be for real. Do people really make money with internet marketing, or is it all hype?
The Hype
If you believe the hype that leads you to think that you can make millions in a few days then you are going to be sorely disappointed. That is simply not possible. My advice if you see programs like this is to run in the opposite direction. You can make money on the web and that is the truth. Some people do make serious money within a few months or years.
The secret is that it takes some hard work. Some people are lucky and are able to make money on the web quickly. They have usually worked hard at it and maybe had some previous internet experience before they started out trying to make it online. They may also have had some help in the form of coaching or mentoring. They may have been able to spend many hours working online because they had no regular job.
The Truth
Simply working hard though does not necessarily result in success. ‘Work smarter, not harder’ is advice that you will often see. There are so many aspects of internet marketing that successful internet marketers usually outsource many of the tedious and repetitive tasks.
Paying someone else to do the mundane parts of your business or things you are unable to do is known as outsourcing. If you are not technically minded, for example, you could hire someone to build websites for you. This does not mean that you have to have an employee working with you at home. There are plenty of online services that specialize in finding people to work for you from a distance. People as far afield as India and the Philippines are keen and eager to pick up this sort of work.
Do your due diligence Any make money on the web opportunity you see advertised needs careful scrutinized before you invest any of your money or time. There is no doubt that some of these are genuine businesses. But, in many cases you can find yourself in competition with thousands of other people all trying to sell the same service to the same people. You need to develop a way to stand out from the crowd.
The secret
The real secret to making money online is to copy successful people. Search out some of the most successful marketers and take some time to watch what they do. Sign up for their free reports and watch how they sell to you and copy the formula. You may find that instead of struggling to make money with these money making opportunities, you can develop a very successful online business of your own.
