Making Money on the Web - My Journey Forward

Hello again from sunny Perth West Australia (still here). Well another eventful week and more friends found on Face book as well as Twitter. It's good to have lots of people wanting to be friends and followers. I just hope I can give something to those who are looking. Remember that this blog is all about helping those who want to go a similar path as I.
This week I decided to install a 'Server' on my computer. Okay you ask, why. Well I am building web sites and not all of them require a hosting account just yet. One reason is that if you want to build a web site, normally you would start by getting a 'Domain Name like:  http://yourwebsitename.com Then you would get a 'Hosting' Account. Then, a web site can be built using programs that come with a hosting account.
So, Look at it this way, build your site on your computer for free, using the same programs the hosting account is charging you for (monthly fee) Now this your paying for eventually, when your site is ready to be published. But at least your not paying the hosting account while building your site.
Well anyway, some people would think that's a good way to firstly, save some money, and secondly, to learn site building and web host.
This week I have downloaded a Server to my computer called xampp this is free and highly recommended. Now that I have that installed, I will be installing a website building program like Joomla 1.5 to work with. Maybe next week if I have time.

The great thing about some of these opportunities is that you simply need to place ads on the internet and the money will begin to pour in. You will need to tend to the ads in order to continue to make money online and you will need to respond with information when a person pays for the idea that you have to offer but that will be all.
